Albury airport is the third busiest airport in regional NSW. It caters for around 250,000 passengers each year and some 7,500 flights throughout the year.

The upgrade will consist of enlarging both the arrival and departure areas.  There will be a second baggage carousel as well as a new mezzanine level that will be able to cater for meetings.  As well the existing cafe will undergo a revamp.
