A phone call from the Managing Director of Alpine MDF looking for a builder with the know how and ability to construct a 2,400m squared timber framed warehouse really piqued our interest. Alpine MDF required a new facility house their moulding plant featuring timber product manufactured by their company. SCD rose to the challenge and constructed a portal frame building using timber sections up to 1200mm wide and 16m long to create the frames which span the 30m width of the building.
