Continuing our relationship with Blacklocks, Southern Cross Developers carried out an extension to the Lavington Ford dealership to enable them to also house Honda motorbikes and Land Rover vehicles. The next stage of expansion was Blacklocks Prestige for their BMW franchise. The cost of the original design supplied put the build well over budget. John Tyrrell (director of SCD) took on the challenge and worked with the stakeholders to implement changes that would reduce construction costs. The original design intent for a high class showroom consistent with the BMW brand requirements was upheld. All designs required approval by BMW while also meeting the clients requests for ample showroom space and service areas to make the project viable. The outcome is everything our client and BMW asked for and another building that SCD are proud to have built.
