Our Bogong Outdoor Education Centre project isn’t located at Bogong but at 15 Mile Creek, Greta South.  The facility is a campus of the Outdoor School and provides outdoor activities and environmental learning to visiting school groups.  Due to the location of the school, the new toilet / laundry building required the highest bushfire protection of any building Southern Cross Developers has ever built.  The external cladding consisted of natural stone and corrugated steel sheeting but all external doors were fire rated and the windows had fire shutters installed which automatically close in the event of a fire.  Beneath the external cladding the building was wrapped and sealed in fire proof blankets.
