An iconic institution in Albury, The Scots School had a dream to build an indoor sports stadium. Southern Cross Developers were awarded the job after a competitive tender. The new facility, built to international competition standards, boasts change room facilities, amenities, learning areas, staff facilities, a gym area and indoor sports courts for basketball, netball, badminton and volleyball. The internal configuration allows competition games to be played while being viewed from retractable seating or, with the seating stowed away, many courts can be used at once. Using energy efficient design, solar heating and rainwater capture make this a very environmentally friendly building.
