Hilltop Cancer Patient Accommodation

Following the successful delivery of the original accommodation facility in 2012, the Fight Cancer Foundation once again engaged Southern Cross Developers to deliver the next stage of the Hilltop Cancer Patient Accommodation in Albury. The expansion was designed to increase accommodation capacity for patients and families travelling from regional communities to access specialist cancer treatment at nearby healthcare facilities.

Working alongside the existing operational accommodation, our team carefully planned and delivered the extension to ensure minimal disruption for guests while maintaining the quality and functionality of the original development. The project reflects Southern Cross Developers' commitment to delivering healthcare infrastructure that provides lasting benefits for both clients and the wider community.

Completed in 2021 with a project value of between $1 million and $3 million, the expansion added an additional 10 guest rooms, providing more families with access to comfortable, purpose-built accommodation during what is often a challenging time. The project continues Southern Cross Developers' long-standing partnership with the Fight Cancer Foundation and demonstrates our ability to deliver projects that make a meaningful difference to the lives of regional communities.
