Hops Products Australia - Hops Processing Facility, Myrtleford

Southern Cross Developers was engaged to deliver the $13 million Hops Processing Facility for Hops Products Australia (HPA) in Myrtleford. The project involved the design and construction of a highly specialised hop pellet processing plant, together with significant renovations to the existing facility, creating modern infrastructure capable of supporting one of Australia's leading hop producers.

A key feature of the development was the construction of a striking 25-metre processing tower, designed to accommodate the specialised equipment required for hop pellet production. The project also included the installation of the processing plant and the creation of purpose-built support facilities within the existing building, including a temperature-controlled cool room, laboratory, control room and modern office spaces. Every aspect of the project was carefully coordinated to integrate advanced processing technology with efficient and practical building design.

Completed in May 2025, the Hops Processing Facility demonstrates Southern Cross Developers' capability in delivering complex industrial and manufacturing projects that require specialist construction expertise and precise project management. The completed facility provides Hops Products Australia with state-of-the-art infrastructure that enhances production capacity, operational efficiency and product quality, supporting the continued growth of Australia's internationally recognised hop industry.
